White Room Grand Ballroom Wedding | St. Augustine, FL | Jessie + Steven

Beautiful destination wedding in the heart of St. Augustine at the White Room Villa Blanca and Grand Ballroom overlooking the Bridge of Lions.

I first met Jessie and Steven at their engagement session. We met at Hanna Park in Atlantic Beach. We walked around getting to know each other as I took some amazing photographs of the two of them. That is when I got to experience how adorable these two are together. Want to see how cute they turned out check out their engagement session here.

When I first arrived to the house rental the girls were getting ready at it was already raining. As Jessie was getting her hair and makeup done it began to downpour outside. Inside everyone was hanging out. Running around playing and spreading adorableness everywhere was Jessie and Steven’s puppy! You’ll see he made it into the wedding party portraits as well.

Before getting dressed the bride and bridesmaids all got in the claw foot tub to pop some champagne. After, the girls all went to get their dresses on and Jessie had the help of her Mom to get into her wedding gown. As the bridesmaids finished changing, each one of them came in to help Jessie with one aspect of getting ready. One bridesmaid put a blue ring on Jessie that she used as both her something borrowed and something blue.

Next, fully ready we headed to the White Room to wait in the bridal room. We created some beautiful bridal portraits right there in the bridal room due to the rain.

It was ceremony time! As Jessie made her way down the aisle at Villa Blanca Steven started to tear up. As their ceremony ended the rain began to clear. After the ceremony, I captured some family portraits inside then headed outside with the wedding party.

On to their White Room Grand Ballroom wedding reception. After introductions and first dances we snuck away. We headed to marina across the street from White Room. There we took some couple’s sunset portraits. These portraits are always my clients favorite photos. They get a few minutes away from everyone to be together and take in the fact that they are now husband and wife. We also tend to get the most amazing lighting right before sunset so these are always a must!

After dinner and cake everyone hit the dance floor. The night ended with a grand sparkler exit in the side alley of the White Room.
